I am here at the Drowning Wench in Limsa Lominsa and as soon as I get out of Mizzenmast Inn to have something to drink, I happen to run into Augustine once again. He is talking to a Miqo'te and another Hyur who, I believe, are acquainted with him and they speak of him like he's some sort of lunatic. It would seem that his Miqo'te friend is a "nunh" of some sort in his tribe. As per usual, nunh have many wives. Though, what strikes me as odd is that the Hyur he is with is one of them. While that's strange, I cannot advocate Augustine's intolerant behavior.
And now, he has been brought outside. Mayhap 'tis because of my presence here, and 'tis because they do not wish to embarrass him. In truth, 'tis difficult to make any sort of conclusions upon Augustine. He hath quirks that I do not want to understand. All of our mutual connections, Rain included, have said that he hath violent tendencies and I've yet to see them. Mayhap I do not want to see them, as the case seems to be with other matters involving Augustine.
It would seem that they've returned. And it would also seem like X'yue has arrived here somehow, and it would also seem like they are just chatting about small nothings.
Oh right. The Miqo'te that is with them is the Vaande man Augustine has spoken about previously. I should have known. Vaande's wife also seems to be pregnant. And also with uncouth and foul language.
I've two new clients for today who were asking about melding mythril and silver together. I informed him that I would attempt to create it with the two metals melded together but gave no guarantees. After several attempts, the two metals would not meld and I knew I was doomed for failure. Both metals are much too dense and neither are as forgiving as zinc nor copper. Those two metals combined make brass, but the end result of that can break down easily, and 'tis much too malleable to be a reliable weapon of any sort. While swords can be created from brass, prolonged usage is not adviseable. 'Tis highly inadviseable to smith axes with brass as the heavy swings may cause the axe blade to shatter and therefore render the axe unusable.
The end result of the work are two mythril war axes. I do hope the clients will be satisfied with the results. 'Twas unfortunate that I did not have the necessary materials to make it a mythril labris, mayhap I would have made more coin were that the case... though I should not think in such a way. Coin is coin but the work is what is most important.
Mayhap I should end the entry here. I've neglected my drink for far too long and Baderon may get a bit dramatic should I not drink what I ordered...
